Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Your Right to Cancel (EU Consumers)
Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive and Irish Consumer Rights Act 2022, you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase for most online orders.
Important Exception — Custom/Perishable Goods:
As our products are custom-made baked goods (perishable goods made to your specification), the right of withdrawal does not apply once we have begun preparing your order, per Article 16(c) and (d) of the Consumer Rights Directive. By placing an order, you acknowledge this.
2. Cancellation Before Preparation Begins
- You may cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it, provided we have not yet begun preparation.
- To cancel, email [email protected] with your order number.
- If eligible, a full refund will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
3. Cancellation After Preparation Begins
Once we have confirmed your order and begun preparation, we are unable to offer a refund except in cases covered in Section 4.
4. Defective or Incorrect Orders
We will provide a full refund or replacement if:
- The product is significantly different from what was ordered
- The product arrives in an unsatisfactory condition (damaged, spoiled)
- The order was not delivered on the agreed date due to our error

5. Refund Processing
- Approved refunds are processed within 5 business days of approval.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout (via Stripe).
- Bank processing time may add 3–5 additional business days.
